Photographic Society
| Marple photographic
society is a small but friendly group of photographers who
are always keen to welcome new members. Meetings are held
regularly throughout the season on the second and fourth
Tuesday of the month at Marple Methodist Chapel. Slides,
prints and images are viewed by members who offer expert
advice and constructive criticism. The very best pieces of
work are selected for competition. The society competes in
the Cheadle Alliance against three other clubs. There are
four competitions annually with points being awarded to
entries from each club. The club with the most points at the
end of the season wins the Cheadle Alliance trophy. |
