The Rotary Club of New Mills, Marple and District meets every Thursday lunchtime in Disley Golf Club at 12.15 pm, for 12.30 pm.

Visiting Rotarians are always welcome.

Our President is Paul Jefferis.
Our President, Paul Jefferis, spent his working life in the Sales and Marketing department of the Financial Times were one of his more pleasant duties was to organise the Party at the Motor Show. Expense no object invitations were much sort after. He is a keen Golfer without much talent, and loves Jazz all its forms, travelling all over the Country to festivals. He appreciates the good things in life like food and wine and supports Manchester United F.C. Ah well, nobody’s perfect!

Chris Farnsworth

The Secretary is Chris Farnsworth. 
After leaving Stoke-on Trent to study Dentistry he never went back, but had Dental Practices in Heaton Moor, Marple and Mottram-in-Longdendale. After retirement he had more time for Golf, which he plays very badly, and supporting Manchester City F.C. In his time he has seen England win the World Cup and City being the top Football Club in England, something he fears his grandchildren will never see. He can be contacted at
