My sons doing a poster for Bridge in Bloom competitiuon and he wants to know when The bridge in Marple Bridge was built
cant find it quick enough in the history section

The present bridge (or at least part of it) was built in 1800 at a cost of £500 after the previous bridge had collapsed.
It was widened in 1930 on the Brabyns side.
