Just to warn people ... a friend of mine went into the large supermarket in Marple recently and left without her debit card. She felt that it was her fault and the supermarket had her card ready for her, at the information desk, when she enquired, incidentally along with a large pile of other people's cards.
She was grateful and, thinking all was well, thanked them. That was until she checked her statement and found over £30 debited from an internet gambling website. The supermarket have refunded her loss and whilst I am sure that the overwhelming majority of staff are 100% honest, it begs the question if someone there isn't too keen to ensure cards are returned too quickly to shoppers. Sadly it only takes one.

Tell us the name of the supermarket garage so that we can avoid it. They are probably using the CCTV cameras to photograph you when you use your pin.
