The council is currently working on a programme of Conservation Area boundary reviews and the Peak Forest Canal and Macclesfield Canal are to be the subject of a public consultation:
A public exhibition drop-in session is arranged for Tuesday 5th February at Marple Library from 3.30pm to 7pm with a stand-alone exhibition continuing at the Library from 6th to 15th February 2008.
Draft Conseravtion Area Appraisals, which set out the history and analyse the special character of the area, will be available to read at the exhibtions, and will also be available on the Council's web site to coincide with the exhibitions and drop in sessions.
If you have any particular questions or would like further information you may contact the Council's Assistant Conservation Officer, Fiona Albarracin, on 1016 474 4561 or email fiona.albarracin@stockport.gov.uk.
