Title: Grassing over of flower beds in Memorial Park

The grassing over of the flower beds has begun, there are three chaps and five pallets of turf !!  Its a sad day once again for Marple  >:(

This is not correct. The grassing over of the Memorial Park flowerbeds has received a "stay of execution" from Parks and Recreation so that the Friends of Memorial Park can adopt them. There will be more about this in the next set of minutes and on the web site when I get a moment to write them.

The work being done today was grassing over of the old Rose bed - work agreed long ago - plus some squaring up and adjustments to the existing beds. I have just re-confirmed this with the P&R manager after seeing this message.

The work was stopped later in the afternoon so maybe a little miscommunication  :o
