Title: Police at Rose Hill Station.

Anyone know why there were about 20 police at the station today (Friday) I was catching the 12:30 train to Manchester and they were climbing up to the stations roof with ladders while others were searching the grassy area at the top end of the car park with a sniffer dog. Didn't get time to ask Tony in the office as they were speaking to him and he'd gone by the time my train returned.

A twitter posting earlier today suggests a hammer attack.

i had read on facebook that there was a another beating in the rose hill area

I have been told it was a drug related incident

I know her (through Twitter) and am pretty sure that she does. That's more or less the point of Twitter. If you want to you can set it up so that only people who follow you can see your posts, but hardly anyone does.

I've asked her about it and she said shed just heard it on the grapevine.. as we all do on here!

sounds like someone upset someone else in thugland  :-\ just wish they'd keep things like this out of our neighbourhood as someone totally unrelated could get caught up and hurt in the process  >:(

There were around 5 police cars and a quite a few police officers at the station yesterday at about 7pm.  :o
