Title: Scrapyard - Car

Hi

I have an old car on the drive that needs taking away (no tax or MOT) - does anybody have any local contacts? How mcuh would they give for a car ready for scrapping?

Don't know of a local scrap dealer, but maybe Mike at Harrods would know:

There's a car body repairers near Wright Hire at Goyt Mill.  They would know.

There is a ad on the radio, they come and collect the car and give you the cash.  I J Kayes Tel 0161 224 9119

My sister has used them to collect a car. they send you a certificate of destruction
