Title: Review of Obstructions Policy

SMBC are currently reviewing their policy for obstructions in Stockport and all the District Centres (including Marple).

The consultation period on the draft policy has now opened.

Written responses to the consultation should be sent to: Engineering Services, Floor 1, Fred Perry House, Stockport, SK1 3XE or by e-mail to transportation@stockport.gov.uk.

          does this include council trees .or dont they want to know . as normall

I smell a rat from the council here. Our local business organisation had a council slacker speaking of parking "improvements" and licensing for A boards. I suspect this is just a ruse to extract more money from struggling retailers. If this does marrow use, the council should be ashamed.

I agree.  And the same applies to cauliflower use and broccoli use as well......  :D
