Title: No more Free Parking In Hyde!!

Went to Hyde last week and discovered that it is no longer free to park in the multi story car park.  It is now £2.50 for 4 hours parking or £3.50 for 24 hours.

I spoke to some of the market traders in the indoor market and they are really struggling - their tradings are down by 50% because of this decision by the Council.   :(

I think you'll find Tameside has been Labour since time immemorial!

            Tom PENDRY used to be councilor there .

He was their MP for thirty years - but I don't think he was ever a councillor was he?

Free after 3pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I noticed today when I made a rare visit. Paid parking is extortionate in Hyde though, compared with Marple.
