More mindless vandalism I'm afraid, pictures below.

All the broken wood is now gone, but where an opening has been made (next to the metal barrier) there are wide tyre tracks in the mud from what must have been motorbikes. ::)

The fence on the first photo seems a bit pointless.

There did used to be a camera on the car park there ....... Im sure its not there now :(
-
Noticed today the fence is already fixed.
Good to see what a quick email to the parks and rec can do!

Such a shame - more money spent on repairing mindless damage

It is not all doom and gloom on the Middlewood Way. Has anyone ever noticed that the Middlewood Way between Rose Hill and Wood Lane remains clear of litter despite the daily invasion of junior/teenage litter louts dropping sweet wrappers, soft drinks cans and discarded school exercise books. Beer cans and cigarette packets are left by youths at Wood Lane, bundles of free newspapers are dumped by distributors who cannot be bothered to deliver them. Old sofas, televisions, carpets computer screens and assorted rubbish are left by people who arrive at the tip to find that the tip is closed. The tip staff refuse to take rubbish dumped around the side into the tip and the Council cuts the verge back a couple of times a year so is there a tooth fairy who removes all the rubbish? There may not be a Friends of Middlewood Way Group but there are a small number of local residents who do care and move all of this rubbish. Many thanks to them for all their hard work.
