can anybody recommend a local supplier of window blinds?

Depends on what sort of budget you have or what sort of blinds you want  ...

I have venetian blinds at my windows and went to homefair blinds  ... cheap as chips £99 pounds ( at the time )  for three blinds , supplied and fitted  ... I have extra large windows, so thought for that price the quality must be rubbish  .... they are not, they are great, and  six, seven years later, our blinds still look as good as new .

You phone them, they come round and measure up, confirm the order and arrive about 2 weeks later to fit them  ..

I would use them again without a doubt  ..
