It takes years to become fluent in amazon, Henrietta, but here is a rough translation for you:

'Driving along Compstall Road recently, I noticed that the restaurant known as 'Cibo', which was formerly the Spring Gardens public house, appeared to have closed'.   ;)

Not sure your right there Dave. In dear amazons original message there was no mention of driving. I prefer to think he was cycling along when he made this observation.

Walking you see more my bikes still at my brothers , in Woodley .dont have a car . All this info I'm giving you .

According to the Facebook page of 'Tennessee Jacks' (it's new name) they have had a small fire and will reopen Sunday after redecorating.  They also deny that they are the same people that ran the last two incarnations, I don't know whether they are or not never having been.
