Title: Possible honey bee swarm- local beekeeper
Post by: wardie on May 07, 2014, 12:11:50 PM
Hi,

I might have a swarm of honey bees in a tree in my garden,  I will get confirmation tomorrow.  If they are honey bees are there any local bee keepers who would want to take them away?

The Beekeeper who looks after the bees at Marple Fire Station is Alan Towse 07802 663 896.

He may well be able to give you some advice.

Try Gerald Purslow, who lives on Woodville Drive, he has hives all over the borough and is very knowledgable on the subject. 0161 449 9089 ;)
