I have long been hoping that eventually the Middlewood Way would become suitable for the the disabled to access the countryside. Granted the surface is getting better but there are still obstacles that prevent it from reaching its full potential.
This problem is not only relevant to the Middlewood Way but is Nationwide and one disabled person is trying to raise money to emphasise the problems.
