Title: Help Friends of the Park win another £1,000 toward the Skatepark!

Web users can help Friends of Marple Memorial Park to win a second grant of £1,000 from Stockport Homes toward The Skate Park Refurbishment Project.

To vote for us to get the money, go to the Stockport Homes web site using this link:

http://www.stockporthomes.org/main.cfm?type=COMMUNITYCOUNT

And then click the link to vote on the East Community Fund applications:

Then tick the box for Friends of Marple Memorial Park, also tick as many of the others as you wish too then scroll to the bottom and hit the "Done" button.

It is really important to understand that this is not a competition for funds, so there is no reason not to vote for everyone else to get their money too!

This afternoon we've received formal notification that the grant application to Stockport Homes for a further £1,000 towards the Skatepark Project has been successful.

Thank you very much to everyone who voted on-line or in the Community Count and helped us to win this.

Thank you to Stockport Homes too of course!

We have more good news to announce regarding the skatepark funding shortly and we'll then be able to update the web site to clarify how we're doing against our target.
