Marple Skatepark Fest II is a fund-raising event for Marple Skatepark Development Project.
We're pleased to announce Marple Skatepark Fest II, raising funds for Marple Skatepark Development Project.
It will be held at Hawk Green Cricket Club on Saturday 14 May and we've got a great line-up of local young up-and-coming acts plus Street Food from All Things Nice too.
Line-up features The Destitutes, The Fuse & The Small Blonde, Josey Marina, Jenny Clark, Georgia Pip, plus Charlie and Oscar Ingham.
We'll add more info about the acts over the coming days and weeks leading up to the event.
The venue is again being provided free of charge, bands are performing free of charge and All Things Nice are donating the cost of Street Food. So all ticket sales and food takings will go towards the new skatepark. All money raised for the skatepark at this event will be match-funded £ for £ by Stockport Council from Formal Sports Commuted Sums.
Tickets are available from members of the Skatepark Project Team and will also be available at All Things Nice from Friday.
There are only 120 tickets available - buy early so you don't miss out!

Last night's Marple Skatepark Fest II raised a fantastic total of £1,120 towards Marple Skatepark.
This also draws down an equal amount from the council's match-funding, meaning it is worth £2,240 to the project overall. Well done to everyone involved.
The breakdown of income was: Ticket sales plus donations £655, Food £260 and £205 on the raffle.
A very big thank you to everyone involved but especially:
Musicians and bands: Charlie Ingham, Georgia Pip, Jenny Clark, Josey Marina, The Fuse and the Small Blonde and The Destitutes.
Rick at All Things Nice for providing and serving the perfect Chilli completely free of charge.
Hawk Green Cricket Club for providing a great venue free of charge.
Marple Co-Op, Recon Cycles, Zuzu's Petals and all the volunteers who donated great raffle prizes.
Dave Ingham for organising the bands and comparing the night and the Skatepark Team for working hard to sell out the tickets.
This income means that we now only need to raise another £13,287 to achieve our target of £100,000.
Marple really is doing it for themselves!
