(Thought I'd get you there!)

Can anyone recommend (or even suggest) a company/person which/who strips doors. I have 6 of them with nearly 100 years of accumulated paint which is in very bad nick (including the lower layers which may be lead based).

There used to be one in Stockport caled Stripper door dont know if they are still in business .have you tried Yellow pages .i will have a look for you .

It's Strippadoor. www.strippadoor.co.uk (http://www.strippadoor.co.uk). They supplied and fitted a reclaimed door for us about 16 years ago. They did a good job and seemed a competent company.
