Title: Calling Compstall Experts!

I've received a couple of postcard images from a lady that she believes are Compstall.

One clearly is and I'll add it to the Virtual Tour but I don't recognise this one yet. The photo is rotated and the buildings should be level and the road going up to the right.

Can you help?

Could it be the George Pub on the left and the cottages on the right pulled down between it and the river bridge now?
