The Ride of Remembrance is this Sunday 27th October, starting at 2.00pm from St Paul's Church, Compstall.
The route map is below but please come out and line the streets for this special event. There will be 100+ motorbikes and scooters each carrying a large poppy with the name of one of the local fallen men from various war conflicts. The riders are symbolically taking that man for a ride around the town which he gave his life for. The ride finishes in Marple Memorial Park where the poppies are transferred onto the Wall of Remembrance.
