Marple Sports Club 2pm - 4pm

An invitation to greet and meet Santa as he arrives by Train on Monday 9th December 2024 at Rose Hill Station

The event will start at around 3.30pm in preparation for Santa arriving on the train around 3.53pm where he will be met on the station platform by the Mayor and Mayoress of Stockport and then move on to his grotto in the car park to meet the children and give out goody bags.

We regret that access to the platform will be restricted to the Welcoming Party and train passengers only.

Goody bags are courtesy of Northern Trains and Friends of Rose Hill Station as are mince pies and hot drinks which will also be available to all who are passing through the station.

There is no charge for this event but donations welcome.

The agenda for the Marple Area Committee Meeting on Wednesday 30 October has been published.

The meeting starts at 6pm in Marple Senior Citizens' Hall and members of the public may attend.

The press and public are also able to follow the proceedings by watching the live webcast of the meeting.
