Join Marple Civic Society as Kathryn Rees, Executive Director for Corporate and Support Services at Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council (SMBC), presents One Stockport - One Future.
This long-term vision for our community stretches through to 2040 and beyond and is built on 5 key ideas:

• Good jobs and homes
• The best place to grow up
• Thriving neighbourhoods
• Clean green transport
• best health care

These priorities will impact the lives of everyone, and this event is your chance to hear how One Stockport plans to build an inclusive and supportive future for us all.

Saturday 16 November 2024 In the Hall, 2.30-4.00, with tea: Church Textiles

A lecture by textile historian Jane Dew, which will provide a context for a new purple frontal for St Martin’s, which the Heritage Trust is presenting to the church to mark its first ten years of service at St Martin’s.

Mellor Art Society's 2024 Exhibition is at St. Martin's Church Hall on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October.

Mellor Art Society’s Annual Exhibition will be held on Saturday October 12th (10am - 5pm) and Sunday October 13th (11am - 4pm) St Martin’s Church Hall, Brabyns Brow, Marple Bridge, Stockport SK6 5DT.

Entrance is free and there is a cafe. Crafts and paintings for sale.

Halloween Market and Funtime on Market Street | Sunday 27 October | 10AM-4PM

Boujee Bliss and No42 are hosting a Sunday Funday and Market, lots of stalls, food and drinks from the high street businesses.
