Big thank you to all the people who have sponsored me and especially The Ring o Bells for the quiz nights.
Grand total raised £1165 for The British Heart Foundation.

I'm in the London marathon for at least the next 2 years so if anyone can think of a charity for next year, pop it on here and the most popular I'll run for them

Thanks again

Had a fantastic weekend, weather was a bit hit and miss.
Got a soaking at the 15 mile mark but then the sun shone for the rest of the race.
Finished it in 2.54.10 an overall position of 662nd.

But more importanly I reached my target before the quiz nights so everything now will be a real bonus, big thank you to you all.

Hope to see some of you at the quiz nights,I'll be the one with the funny walk  '<img'>

Hope you did well and didn't suffer too much from the beautiful weather!  We got soaked watching from the sidelines.  How are the legs??  Well done anyway. '<img'>

Just a quick note to say thank you to the people who kindly sponsored me just a few quid short of my target.
For those who will be watching it on the telly keep your eye out for me coming in hopefully under the 3 hour mark in a bright red British Heart Foundation vest.

Peter what's the best time to tell everyone to come to the quiz on Wednesday?

Peter spoke to my friend and he will come down to make a team up.
Training going well did a 20 mile race last Sunday and got a 21 mile race this Saturday.
Sponsorship going well just reached £400.

Oh by the way thanks to the person who stole my wing mirror (just the glass)when parked on my drive, cost me £280.

Boyd hope to see you at the track soon '<img'>

I'm running the London Marathon for the British Heart Foundation this year.

A lot of people off this site have supported me over the past few years over my fund raising, which myself and the charities are eternally grateful.

So if you could spare anything it does'nt matter how much for a worthy cause.
