Good. People with no insurance make everyone else's go up. In addition it forces those of us who rely on our cars for a living to take out extra cover in case we get hit by a driver with no insurance. I know it's a scare tactic and they'll be gone tomorrow, but if it forces a few people off the road and makes others renew their insurance I'm all for a bit of disruption.

The police were out in force today 21/5/08 on Marple rd near to it's junction with Lisburne Lane. They had a newish car with the advert on the side stating it had been seized for no insurance etc. further down the road were about 12 various officers, police, dvla etc. stopping suspect cars. A TV crew were doing an interview with one of the officers involved. Traffic was really bad.
