Stockport Council’s heritage service has launched its own answer to the credit crunch. You can now buy a ‘Combined Entry Ticket’ so you can visit more attractions, for less!
With the cost of living rising and bills soaring to new heights, many people have found most of their disposable income has diminished, much to the detriment of family outings and holidays. In a bid to combat the financial squeeze, visitors can now visit Staircase House, Bramall Hall and the Air Raid Shelters for as little as £10 for adults and £5 for concessions and children, with a group of four (any four persons) able to visit all three attractions for just £25.
The three venues not only offer tours around these unique historic sites, but provide a range of children’s, family and adult activities to take part in.
Councillor Shan Alexander, Executive Member for Leisure, said: "We are all feeling the pinch of the current economic climate and this ticket is the ideal way to make the most of the excellent cultural attractions on your doorstep, whilst not breaking the bank."
The recently launched combined ticket is available to buy at the applicable sites. The current cost to enter any one of the three venues is £3.95 for an adult and £2.95 for a concession or child, meaning a group of four adults could make a massive saving of £22.40 using this combined entry ticket.
