Marple has been on TV twice this week, did anyone notice?
On Sunday night in "Rivers" Gryff R-J wandered around the Marple Wharf / Top Lock area as he talked about building rivers where we wanted them. There were several nicely composed clips that were very recognisable but unfortunately he made no mention of where he was within "Manchester".
The second was last night on 'Who Do You Think You Are', which was about the family of comedian David Mitchell. We were pleased to have been involved a little in this by providing an image from the Virtual Tour of the Hollins Mill and if you looked carefully you would have seen The Marple Website mentioned in the credits. The publicity for Marple was not quite as good though as the story was about David's relative rescuing Scottish damsels from a life of slavery in the satanic Marple mill!
You can still catch them on BBC iPlayer.
