OK, but we seem to have lost the most recent posts on the Strines development in the process!

No, they are still in the old topic: http://www.marple-uk.com/smf/index.php?topic=2978.0

This thread has been split out from the discussions about development at Strines.

Er, has this post crept in from another thread?  It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the development at Strines.   ???

Serves them right, I'm getting fed up of houses being built everywhere. I know it's not Marple but the old Cherry Tree School in Romiley made me mad, according to ex parents of the school, the council said that the school building was going to be turned into a community centre but surprise surprise a developer bought it!
It's so wrong and agree completely, this was my school and the site had huge potential to expand and the footprint is much bigger than the romiley site. It's complete madness and they are slowly destroying communities and cherry tree is a great example of such greed and bad decisions.
