oh theres no doubt they've both been touched up! From very hairy and spotty to hairless and perfect! Dont see why they shouldn't really.. if they think it will sell photos... clearly by the comments on here it does!  I DO believe that the vast majority if not all will have been given a "healthier glow" but obviously they've gone a little bit over board on my son and a few others!

Not got round to it yet but intend to email school and the company that do them!

Are the photographers allowed to do that.......?

Maybe if you are upset with the images, you should take it up with the group who took them in the first place.  My understanding is that you don't 'touch up' images unless requested to do so.....

Spot on Lisa - that's the first thing I noticed about my daughter's photo.... freckles disappeared, sunkissed skin and an allover glow of happiness....looks nothing like her  :D

It would be cheaper too just buying one with all sibs on.

Which is why it won't happen. I don't know what they are charging per photo, but cost price, based on a weeks work in total to take and process the photos, and assuming that only 25% of parents buy photos, would be around £4. I suspect that they cost significantly more than that.

Plus, unless the sibs are twins in the same year, it's significantly harder to arrange for them to be "free" at the same time for the photos to be taken at Secondary School.

Mine looked OK on the small ones, from what I could tell. Thought they were pricey though. I would like siblings done together though too, like in primaries. It would be cheaper too just buying one with all sibs on.

My 2 go to Marple Hall, and theirs look great. 1 in fact is his best picture to date. Can't say too much about them as their grandpa comes on here and it will spoil a nice xmas pressie.

Has anyone else with kids at Marple hall? and probably most of the primary schools too.  Just got my kids photos and have spent the last 10 minutes laughing!!

My sons quite spotty and hes got long hair and very large hairy sideburns, all of which have been removed from his school photo! Obviously still got long hair but no bits sticking out... perfectly smooth.  We knew his spots had been airbrushed but took us a while to work out what was "missing"!
My daughters freckles have all been removed and her very ginger hair is now very very ginger!  Her skin has been darkened too!

Noticed lots of odd things with the primary school group photos.. ie hands in wrong places.. one child huge one child tiny..

Not complaining... not buying them because theyre not pictures of my kids really... just wondered if anyone else had noticed and thought it was funny :)
