Don't they drive you mad! Went to the Romper this week because the weather was so good. Thought we would have lunch sat outside admiring the lovely views. Some hopes. No food served outside until after Easter. If pubs are doing badly then they may only have themselves to blame. Inflexible practices and attitudes only hurt profits. We came home and had lunch outside in our garden. Now don't get me started on half day closing!

Not suprising, alas. Â Next time, try the Ringer or the Devonshire. Â Their 'outsides' are not so scenic, but at least they've heard of customer service! Â

Yes, I had the same problem at the Romper this week. It was a beautiful evening, the pub was packed and smoky inside, but they still wouldn't serve outside....!
