If anyone finds themselves at a loose end over the Christmas Holidays and fancies themselves as a bit of a photo retouching wizzard then here's a challenge for you.
This fantastic high def photo from Marple Local History Society Archives is of All Saints School, date unknown but probably late 1800s or very early 1900s, is unfortunately badly damaged.
It is either stuck to the broken glass, or the images is on the glass itself and nothing can really be done with it physically.
If you fancy having a go, here's a high-res scan to play with. It would be great to see a well restored image without those cracks on.
