The safe-pass man was parked opposite my house today and leapt out to help when he saw me struggling to get a mattress into my car to take to the tip. I don't know what he's like as a driving instructor, but he wins today's award for chivalry!

Safe Pass,

Based on the Marple Hall Estate, my son had driving lessons through him, really liked him, and made him feel at ease, plus he passed his test :)

Does anyone have any particular recommendations for a driving instructor for my 17 year old son?  We will be giving him additional practice in our own car.

yes, a stagecoach 7 day pass for £11.50
there are too many cars on the road in marple, why do people think its a divine right for there offspring to drive as soon as eligible.
i am fed up of seeing houses with multiple cars outside- so many that they have to park on pavements etc...
we were born with legs - use them.

Good job we have a large enough drive so we don't have to park on the road then.  Anyway who said there would be an extra car on the road? He will be sharing the family car!

Try Daryl Evans. He taught me, my brother and my sister and has just taught my daughter who passed first time. He's on 0161 494 8132 or 07721 841326 and daryl@daryldriving.co.uk.

Blimey - keep your hair on.  There are many reasons why a young person might want driving lessons - one of which is that they may want to get a job that is not on a bus route out of Marple.  My son isn't able to drive a car and it is severely restricting his job prospects.

Driving Schools:
Gem and Driving Force are both based in the Marple.
