Found a cat

There's no chip, so we are now looking for a good home for her.

She's about 6 months to a year old, needs feeding up, as she's gaining weight slowly.
She is very affectionate and loves curling up on laps.
Litter trained, but will need a lot of attention while she regains weight

Thanks, we are taking her to get scanned as soon as I can get time off work. We might just take you up on that offer!

She's not truly feral, but worries a lot about food. She likes sleeping on people, and uses a litter tray etc

Hi, Paul. She's not mine but if you don't find her owners I might be able to find her a home either with me or if she has become feral, at the stables. Plenty of fun for her with rats and mice and she'd be fed and cared for and regularly de-fleaed and vaccinated etc.

You might find her owners if the vet will check for a micro-chip. If you explain the circumstances they probably wouldn't charge for doing it.

A friend of mine lost her tabby cat quite some time ago, so I've emailed her this thread.

A kind request for you; can you please feel the cat's ribs carefully as her cat had one funny "sticky out" rib that you might think had been broken!

Her cat was a small neutered male, named "Henry". The 2nd pic could be a match, but most tabbies look very similar!

Hi all,

We found a cat on Shepley Lane in hawk green last night
Very skinny, probably been stray for a while, but she is friendly and seems like she was domestic at some point
Probably female, small tortoiseshell short-hair
