Martin from Lightning Repairs Ltd has just left here after fixing the DVD player in my Home Cinema system.

I've very pleased with the work he has done and would certainly recommend from experience now.

Also shown him this thread and he's now under pressure to fix Denise's TV and get a good review from her too  :D

Thanks
Lightning Repairs have called and taken the TV away. Should be much cheaper ( and greener ) than a replacement.

Haven't used them myself but Lightning Repairs seem to have a good reputation:

10 Leighton Drive, Marple Bridge, Stockport, Cheshire, SK6 5BY Tel::  0161 427 8181.

If you do use let us know as we've got a dvd player that needs a look at!
