Is there a community bus or transport support system for pensioners to be able to get into the centre of Marple to shop on a daily basis? I think this would add greatly to the welfare of our elderly and boost sales in the village.

Welcome to the forum Pixy.

Have you tried the route planner at http://www.transportdirect.info/, shows all the possible transport options (bus, train, walk) between two places ?
