The Hare and Hounds on Werneth Low is a bit further on but is in a lovely situation on a nice day and has a play area. Don't know about the food as I haven't eaten there for a long time. It's a Chef & Brewer so probably fairly inexpensive.

Try Royal Oak in Mellor. Looks can be deceptive as it just looks like a little country inn from the outside but their is a large beer garden at the back where I've often seen young children running around.

Try the Devonshire Arms, Mellor.  Also the Little Mill at Rowarth, which has a children's playground.

Many thanks Dave, went to the Devonshire and great garden area, play houses and toys to keep the little ones occupied. Staff were ever so helpful too.

Hi all,
Looking for any recommendations of pubs in the area that are children friendly. Ideally with a beer garden and or play area for children.

Marple and perhaps 2-3 miles radius?

Looking to enjoy the beautiful weather and let the children run free

Many thanks in advance.
