I particularly like the very last sentence of that press release Duke.

The one that relates to to the the Fringe or the Council organised event? Did you attend? which one did you think was excellent?

It seems the Portas Pilot people are very keen to differentiate Stockport 'Old Town' from Mersey Way (with good reason) but this was an excellent event and makes a change from the usual efforts.
