Congratulations to Marple Band, who over the weekend won the National Championship Second Section and are now 2nd SECTION CHAMPIONS OF GREAT BRITAIN 2014!

Great news - well done.  Let's hope the band can keep it up, and maybe even recapture the glorious triumphs of years gone by!   :)

The Marple Band entered The North West Area brass Band Championships on Sunday 9th September.
The band had been promoted to the 2nd Section after winning last years 3rd Section.
The band were placed runners up out of 16 bands and will now be invited to compete in the National Finals of Great Britain for the 2nd consecutive year at Cheltenham in September ;D
