Marple Athletic Junior Football Club is the leading FA Charter Standard club in the area with well over 200 local boys and girls playing football for the club every week.
We are a volunteer run community organisation and offer a pathway for boys and girls of all abilities to play football from Reception class through to Year 11 (16 years).
Our club philosophy supported by the FA is to offer children a safe fun environment to play football without the pressures of a win at all cost attitude.
To further support football in the community we hold the following fun packed sessions on Sundays at Marple Hall High School 10-1130am;
Football Development School - Aimed at boys and girls in Reception class and Year 1/2. Taken by an FA qualified coach using modern training equipment with the emphasis on fun!
We only charge £3 pay-as-u-play to recover the costs of the facility hire.
All are welcome and need to wear appropriate outdoor sport kit, trainers, shin pads and a soft drink and the only other requirement is bags of enthusiasm!!!
All-Girls training - Open to girls in Years 3/4/5/6 who want to try football for the first time or are already playing football and want to improve their skills.
We are the only FA Charter Standard Club in the area who have two all girls team playing competitive football in an all girls league throughout the season.
The all-girls sessions begin on SUNDAY 12th April at Marple Hall High School 10-1130am.
The sessions are taken by local FA qualified female coaches and as with our Development School we only charge £3 pay-as-u-play and all girls are welcome.
