Fear not Phil, I heard it's closed tonight because of a problem with the electrics in the cellar. I'm sure normal service will resume when they're sorted out.

I hope I'm reading too much into it but it looks like the Ringers is shut for this evening - door closed and lights off. I know Wednesday's can be quiet in many pubs these days but if their door isn't open it's difficult to sell anything.

Fingers crossed this isn't the start of a slippy slope for the pub...
