Yes it's been noticable. Mellor also much busier than normal. Strines road has been great in comparison, though i understand it's not completely shut - access was possible on foot (or pushing a bike) until Monday but there was a notice saying it would be completely closed from Jun 1st

be careful walking along the Ridge as traffic has increased, as folks are using that as an alternative route.

According to information posted on a local Facebook page they will be maintaining access along Strines Road for pedestrians and cyclists.

Strines road will be closed for five weeks from 8 am 24 may .
