Hi Will
glad you've discovered that census on ancestry. I was rather nervous about taking up the subscription at first (lots of people saying it wasn't very good and impossible to cancel the 2 week free trial) but I'd not be without it now!
Have you tried posting to the boards on genesreunited for look ups on the earlier census? There are lots of really helpful people there.
Another *very* helpful site is rootschat.com I recently posted a request for a look up on the 1841 Derbyshire census and a very helpful lady gave me some information that has enabled me to connect my tree to another researchers.
I've not got a John Bradshaw in my tree as far as I'm aware - but I've not done loads of research into siblings of this line.
Names in my line are as follows:
Murial Joyce BRADSHAW b1922 d 1977 in Queen Street, Marple
Albert BRADSHAW b1885 in Queen Street, Marple
Joseph BRADSHAW b1854 in Brabins Brow, Marple
William BRADSHAW b c1822 in Calver, Derbyshire
Godfrey BRADSHAW - no other information known.
You'll have to drop me a line if you find we have a common ancestor.
