Mother's Day is approaching (Sunday 27th March) and Friends of the Park volunteers have been busy creating a great selection for collection / local delivery.

We have an updated selection of cards for many occasions in the Vernon Building Society and are currently offering Valentine's Day, Easter and Mother's Day cards for collection / local delivery.

Handmade Cards in support of Friends of Memorial Park

Long story short: the Marple branch of the Vernon Building Society chose Friends of Memorial Park as their charity of the year for 2020 and, amongst other things, we were hoping they could sell my better-half's handmade cards to raise funds for the park.

Obviously that's not going to happen in the short term but she's built up a huge stock of cards. So, we want to see if we can sell a few while maintaining safe distances and procedures. There are cards for all occasions including birthdays; special birthdays; father's day; get well; new baby; sympathy and so on.

The photos attached to this post give some examples.
