This year a short film Ride of Remembrance 2023 has been made by Seven Creative Movies that will be shown at the Regent Cinema prior to the main film for the run-up to Remembrance Sunday.

Marple Poppy Appeal Collections 2023

With a another successful 2023 Ride of Remembrance completed on Sunday it will soon be time for the 2023 Poppy Collections.

This year the Marple Poppy Appeal Team will be on The Hollins on Saturday 28 October from 10am to 3pm.

They will also be in Asda from Monday 30th October until Saturday 11 November, 9am until 6pm each day except Sunday, when it is 10am until 4pm.

The Team do have a limited supply of 2023 Manchester Bee / Poppy enamel badges but don't leave too late to get yours!

Look out for the Ride of Remembrance 2023 Film due to be premièred soon and shown at the Regent Cinema throughout the period of the appeal.

The final two groups of local businesses supporting this year's Ride of Remembrance on Sunday 22nd October.

They are supporting our community, so please support them!

Also a map of the route is attached. Please line the streets on Sunday from 2pm for the Ride of Remembrance to show your appreciation to all the bikers. Also please tell your friends and neighbours about the ride and get them outside as well. The event is being filmed and it will be shown at the Regent Cinema, so, you never know, if you're on it Hollywood might come calling.
