You park for free anyway if you use the Co-Op - as you get your money back. I think the complaint is that you have to walk to both machines to find out if they're working because if only one is broke and you don't get a ticket you'll get a ticket, if you see what I mean. I can see that would be annoying.

Have you complained to the Co-Op management?

I went to the Co-op in Marple to find BOTH ticket machines out of order.  However, there were no 'out of order' signs to indicate this which I think is pretty poor practice.  Apparently these machines break on quite a regular basis and it's very dissatisfying.
