Actually the MCC juniors info is out of date - I have been meaning to change it on our website for the last couple of weeks.... I'd better go do it now! ''

Junior Organiser: Phil Withers 0161 427 4525 or 07884 450865

Under 9's - Dave Foreman 427 5606
Under 11's - Phil Withers (above)
Under 13's - Garry Cash - 427 2755
Under 15's - Andy Marshall - 01663 810999
Under 18's - George Clarke - 427 8028

I watches a highly enjoyable U13's game on Wednesday against Stockport G's which ended in an exciting draw. The kids had a great night and the parents enjoyed relaxing in the sunshine with the bar open.

We are still also looking for players of all ages and are running a Sunday 4th X1 for the first time this year - this team will likely be a mixture of kids and adults.

Get you and your kids involved.... it can be a great family day out!

My son plays for Marple rugby club too.

Each child regardless of ability is treated fairly and gets to have a go which is really nice.

My son only started last season, and we have been really glad that he joined.

Also, its a great way for the children to make friends, and also nice for the parents too (The dads on my sons team got together for a night out on friday which they all enjoyed!!'<img'>

The new season starts in September,  why not come along one sunday morning and have a look.

The club secretary will give you all the details you need.

My son plays for Marple Ruby Club, and I have to say they are really really excellent. He played football for a while but once they get to around 8, the clubs start selecting the better players only and the less gifted find it hard to get a game. In rugby there is a position for everyone and Marple minis emphasis is on teamwork and positioning. I'd suggest you contact the Minis Secretary, Audrey Johnson on 0161 449 7594 and she can tell you about the club.
