It all depends on where you live, if you are close to a BT exchange (500M) you will find that going with either copper (BT landline which is the same as pipex) or fibre optic (virgin) will be roughly the same but if you live further away your best of with virgin as your never more than 200M away from a fibre link. Virgin (late ntl) have booked there ideas up since ricardo bought it, so try them out for size.

Right that's it - I have completely fallen out with my useless ISP (Pipex) - due to their rubbish customer service. Which of you helpful people can give me recommendations for a good, and not too pricey, domestic broadband supplier who actually apears to know what they are doing rather than making you stay on their premium rate line for ages and telling you your computer is at issue when actually it is them that is at fault!
