Two young men were caught on the roof of the Cricket Club. Ray

Indeed it appears that some miscreants broke into the club, setting off the direct alarm to the police. I understand that they were caught 'in-situ' whilst trying to escape via the roof.

It woke me up,a little before 5am and, as I couldn't get back to sleep, came downstairs and saw it circling until about 6.30am.  As I could see the searchlight I wasn't concerned, just wondered what or who they were looking for.

We saw the plane also and thought it was a plane that had got into trouble as it flew repeatedly in circles and was extremely low. We were so concerned we rang the police and the airport to try and find out what was going on.
