The old fashioned hit counter on the main web site reached the milestone of 500,000 visits yesterday. Because the site is constructed in frames this is not a very accurate tool and the server statistics show that the true hit count for the whole site is much much higher. Nevertheless, I like to keep it for sentimental reasons and it's at least a good measure of how many times the home page has been visited.
