Last Night at The Proms at Marple Methodist Church, 7.30pm
This is the twelfth "last night" to be performed at Marple's Methodist Hall. The Hawk Green Brass Band and singers Kay Jordan (soprano) and Alan Roscoe (Baritone) will be accompanied by Per Nelson (piano) and Richard Wright (Organ) in Marple's own celebration of the end of the Promenade season. All the usual marches, overtures and Henry Wood sea songs will be performed as well as Land of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia and Jerusalem.
Admission: £6 and £3 concessions, includes a programme and refreshments.
