Here in Manchester the thieves cut a hole in the bottom ov vans, park over the manhole and lift up the lid unseen!

I understand that the accused was due to appear at Manchester Crown court about the 22nd December when it was anticipated that a plea of "not guilty" might be entered, and if so the case would be remanded for trial date and for witnesses to be called

Great to see in the news today that the boys in blue have caught the Mellor guy who was nicking manhole/grid covers throughout the local area.  The crime was discussed a little on the forum last year, here and here.
